AI Voice Training for Teams: 6 Platforms Compared (2026)

A woman wearing a headset practices a conversation out loud at her laptop while a colleague with earbuds practices at the next desk

AI voice training, in the sense used here, means practicing a real conversation out loud with an AI that plays the other person. A sales rep calls an AI buyer, a support agent calms an AI customer, a nurse rehearses a hard talk with an AI patient. The AI answers by voice, pushes back, and scores the conversation at the end.

The phrase has two other meanings in search results. Many pages are job offers that pay people to record their voice so AI companies can train speech models. Others explain how to clone a voice, often a singing voice. If you came for either of those, this article is not for you. It compares tools that train people, not tools that people train.

Six platforms are compared below. Replio, listed first, is ours: public prices, a free plan, practice in 58 languages, and your own documents turned into practice scenarios in minutes. Every fact about the other five comes from their own sites, read in October 2026. Replio gets the same treatment.

What an AI voice training platform does

If the format is new to you, start with what AI roleplay training is. In short, one practice session has four steps:

  1. A scenario. Who the AI plays, what it knows, what it wants and how hard it is to convince.
  2. The conversation. The trainee speaks, the AI listens and replies in real time.
  3. Feedback. A score and comments, after the session or during it.
  4. The manager’s view. Transcripts, progress over time and assignments for the team.

The platforms differ on all four. Some write the scenario for you from your documents, some give you a builder, one gives you only the voice engine. Some coach during the call, most only after it. That is what the comparison below looks at.

6 AI voice training platforms compared

Replio

Replio is an AI voice training platform built in the EU by AitekLabs. Teams practice sales calls, support escalations, interviews and difficult conversations against AI personas that interrupt, object and change their mind the way a real person does. Managers upload their documents, and Smart Import turns them into personas, scenarios and quizzes. In coach mode, trainees get live hints while they speak. After a completed session they get a score and written feedback, and managers can add their own rating, which is blended into the skill score.

Format: live, open-ended voice conversations, with a live video avatar as an add-on. Scope: ten training domains, from sales and support to healthcare and language learning. Languages: 58 practice languages with regional variants. Data: voice sessions are processed on Google Cloud in the EU, details on the trust page.

Public prices: yes. A free plan with a 15-minute voice trial, Business at 549 euro per month for 15 seats and 2,700 training minutes, Growth at 749 euro per month for 25 seats and 5,000 minutes, before VAT. See the pricing page.

Second Nature

Second Nature is an enterprise sales-training platform built around structured role plays with AI avatars. Each role play is scored against a topic checklist, with results within 45 to 90 seconds after the session. Managers add scorecards and track certification progress.

Format: structured role plays by voice or avatar, with lip-synced video avatars for English-language, single-persona role plays. Scope: sales first, with use cases for support, call centers and HR. Languages: 30+ advertised. Data: SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701; its FAQ states EU hosting in the Netherlands.

Public prices: no. Licenses are quoted after a demo. Free sample role plays sit behind a lead form. Full comparison: Replio vs Second Nature.

Hyperbound

Hyperbound is built for revenue teams. Reps call AI buyer bots built from the ideal customer profile to drill cold calls, discovery and demos, and the platform also scores real sales calls. It says its buyer personas draw on more than 2 million hours of real B2B conversations.

Format: simulated sales calls with scorecard feedback after each call. Scope: sales and revenue teams. Languages: 25 to 30+, depending on the page. Data: a US company whose data processing agreement places primary processing in the United States; EU data residency is listed as an add-on.

Public prices: no. Per-user licenses through its sales team, with a free tier of prebuilt roleplays. Full comparison: Replio vs Hyperbound.

Yoodli

Yoodli started as an AI speech coach and grew into a roleplay platform. Its strength is delivery: pacing, wording and confidence, measured in detail. Individuals use it for public speaking and interview prep, and companies use it for sales enablement.

Format: roleplays plus speaking analytics, with feedback after the session. Scope: communication coaching and enablement. Languages: 40+ per its site. Data: SOC 2 Type 2; a US company whose privacy policy states that EEA data is transferred abroad.

Public prices: yes, for individuals. A free tier with 5 lifetime sessions, Pro at 8 dollars and Advanced at 20 dollars per month billed annually. Team and Enterprise plans are on request. Full comparison: Replio vs Yoodli.

Retorio

Retorio, based in Munich, runs video and phone simulations with 93 photorealistic avatars and gives feedback grounded in behavioral science. It targets large enterprises, typically 1,000 employees and more.

Format: video and phone simulations with coaching cues during the session. Scope: sales and customer-facing teams in large companies. Languages: 14. Data: Google Cloud with EU data residency, ISO 27001 certified.

Public prices: no. Per-user licenses on request, with 36-month enterprise contracts per its FAQ. Full comparison: Replio vs Retorio.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs is not a training platform. It is a voice AI company whose ElevenAgents product lets developers build conversational voice agents, and some teams build roleplay training on top of it. Its voices are among the best available. The training layer is yours to build: scenarios, scoring, dashboards and trainee management.

Format: whatever your developers build. Scope: any. Languages: 70+ for agents. Data: default storage in the US; EU data residency is reserved for Enterprise customers.

Public prices: yes, for the voice engine. Agent plans run from a free tier with 15 minutes to Business at 990 dollars per month, with extra minutes at 0.08 dollars. Language model usage and the build of the training app come on top. Full comparison: Replio vs ElevenLabs.

How to choose

Start from what you need to train, not from the feature list.

  • Only sales calls, at SDR volume, with Salesforce and Gong in the stack: Hyperbound is built for that.
  • A formal sales academy with certifications and a demo-led rollout: look at Second Nature.
  • One person’s delivery on stage or in interviews: Yoodli measures it best.
  • A very large European company that wants video-based behavioral feedback and can sign a 36-month contract: Retorio.
  • Your own developers and full control over the agent: ElevenLabs as the voice engine.
  • Several teams, several languages, your own documents as the source and a start this week without a sales call: Replio.

Test any platform in 30 minutes

  1. Write down one real conversation your team finds hard, for example one of these sales role play scenarios or a customer service scenario.
  2. Build it on the platform from your own material, not from a template. Time how long it takes.
  3. Run the session in the language your team works in. Interrupt the AI and change the subject: does it follow?
  4. Read the feedback. Does it quote what you actually said, or give general advice?
  5. Open the manager view and check what a manager sees per person. For EU teams, this comparison of platforms with EU data residency lists the questions to ask about data.

FAQ

What is AI voice training?

It is practice of spoken conversations with an AI that plays the other person, such as a customer, a candidate or a patient. The AI replies by voice in real time and gives feedback on how the conversation went. Teams use it to rehearse sales calls, support calls and difficult conversations before they happen for real.

Are AI voice training jobs the same thing?

No. “AI voice training jobs” are paid tasks where people record their voice or rate AI speech so that AI companies can train their models. The platforms in this article do the opposite: the AI helps people train their conversation skills.

Can I train an AI on my own voice with these platforms?

No. Training an AI to speak with your voice is voice cloning, which tools like ElevenLabs offer as a separate product. AI voice training platforms use ready-made AI voices to play the other side of the conversation.

Which AI voice training platforms publish their prices?

Replio publishes full team prices and a free plan. Yoodli publishes individual plans, and ElevenLabs publishes prices for its voice engine, not for a finished training product. Second Nature, Hyperbound and Retorio quote prices after a demo.

Which platform can I try for free?

Replio, Yoodli and Hyperbound have free tiers, and ElevenLabs has a free agent tier for developers. Second Nature offers sample role plays behind a lead form.
