Best AI Tools to Train Your Team in 2026: 7 Platforms Compared

Marcelo Pereira12 min read

Four colleagues in a bright office: one stands at a whiteboard with a headset, speaking, while two practice a conversation out loud at a table and a third takes notes on a tablet.

A good AI tool to train your team is one where people practice the conversation itself, out loud, against an AI that plays the customer, the patient or the candidate, and then get scored on what they said. Watching videos is not training. Answering a quiz is not training. The seven platforms below all run practice sessions with feedback. They differ on who they are built for, how the scenario gets built, which languages they speak, where the voice data goes and whether you can see a price before a sales call.

Replio, listed first, is ours: public prices, a free plan, practice in 58 languages, and your own documents turned into practice scenarios in minutes. Every fact about the other six comes from their own sites, read in October 2026, with the same five questions asked of each. Replio gets the same treatment.

What to check before you pick an AI training tool for your team

If the format is new to you, start with what AI roleplay training is. Then ask each vendor five questions. They decide more than the feature list.

  1. What does the trainee practice? Open-ended conversations transfer to the job. Structured role plays scored against a checklist are easier to certify. Both are valid; pick the one that matches what your team does all day.
  2. Where do the scenarios come from? The tool should build them from your playbooks, product sheets and call recordings. A scenario library written by the vendor trains for the vendor’s imaginary company.
  3. When does the feedback arrive? During the call, or after. Live hints change behavior while it happens. A score afterwards is what managers track.
  4. Which languages does it practice and score? A team in Lisbon, Vilnius and Athens needs all three, scored by the same rules.
  5. Where is the voice data processed, and what does it cost? A trainee’s voice and transcript are personal data. A pricing page with numbers tells you whether the budget talk starts before the demo or after.

7 AI tools to train your team, compared

Replio

Replio is an AI voice training platform built in the EU by AitekLabs. Teams practice sales calls, support escalations, interviews and difficult conversations against AI personas that interrupt, object and change their mind the way a real person does. Managers upload their own documents, and Smart Import turns them into personas, scenarios and quizzes. In coach mode, trainees get live hints while they speak. After each session they get a score and written feedback, and managers can add their own rating, which is blended into the skill score.

Built for: any team, across ten training domains from sales and customer service to healthcare, HR and language learning. Practice format: open-ended voice conversations, with a live video avatar as an add-on. Feedback: live hints in coach mode, score and written feedback after the session. Languages: 58 practice languages with regional variants. Data: voice sessions are processed on Google Cloud in the EU, details on the trust page.

Public prices: yes. A free plan with a 15-minute voice trial, Business at 549 euro per month for 15 seats and 2,700 training minutes, Growth at 749 euro per month for 25 seats and 5,000 minutes, before VAT. See the pricing page.

Yoodli

Yoodli started as an AI speech coach and grew into a roleplay platform for sales enablement and L&D. Its strength is delivery: pacing, wording and confidence, measured in detail. Individuals use it for public speaking and interview preparation, and companies use it for enablement with rubric scoring and cohort reporting.

Built for: speakers first, then enablement teams. Practice format: roleplays plus speaking analytics. Feedback: after the roleplay, with real-time nudges on live calls; in-simulation coaching is listed as a 2026 roadmap item. Languages: 40+ per its site. Data: SOC 2 Type 2; a US company whose privacy policy states that EEA data is transferred abroad.

Public prices: yes, for individuals. A free tier with 5 lifetime sessions, Pro at 8 dollars and Advanced at 20 dollars per month billed annually. Team and Enterprise plans are on request. Full comparison: Replio vs Yoodli.

Second Nature

Second Nature is an enterprise sales-training platform built around structured role plays with AI avatars. Each role play is scored against a topic checklist, with results within 45 to 90 seconds after the session. Managers add scorecards and track certification progress, and its AI Assistant builds a role play from freeform text, uploaded files or a URL.

Built for: formal sales academies, with use cases for support, call centers and HR. Practice format: structured role plays by voice or avatar, with lip-synced video avatars for English-language, single-persona role plays. Feedback: after the role play. Languages: 30+ advertised. Data: SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701; its FAQ states EU hosting in the Netherlands.

Public prices: no. Licenses are quoted after a demo. Free sample role plays sit behind a lead form. Full comparison: Replio vs Second Nature.

Hyperbound

Hyperbound is built for revenue teams. Reps call AI buyer bots built from the ideal customer profile to drill cold calls, discovery and demos, and the platform also scores real sales calls. It integrates with Salesforce and Gong, and its own figure for a full setup is about two weeks.

Built for: SDR and revenue teams. Practice format: simulated sales calls with AI buyer bots. Feedback: scorecard after each call; live in-call coaching is sold as an add-on for real sales calls. Languages: 25 to 30+, depending on the page. Data: a US company whose data processing agreement places primary processing in the United States; EU data residency is listed as an add-on.

Public prices: no. Per-user licenses through its sales team, with a free tier of prebuilt roleplays. Full comparison: Replio vs Hyperbound.

Exec

Exec runs AI roleplays for sales, service and management teams. Its pages state that every scenario is built around your product, buyer personas, competitive landscape and sales methodology, naming MEDDPICC, Challenger and Sandler, and that call recordings, battle cards and playbooks can be used as source material. Call Scoring grades real recorded calls through Gong and Chorus against the same rubrics used in practice. Roleplays run inside an LMS through LTI, and an MCP connector lets you use Exec inside ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot.

Built for: sales teams first, with service and management roleplays. Practice format: practice sessions with AI buyers; the product page shows a text-style transcript and does not state whether sessions run by voice, text or both. Feedback: AI feedback after each session, with recordings and feedback visible to managers. Languages: “Multi-Language Roleplays” listed, no count given. Data: SOC 2 Type 2, TLS 1.2+, a statement that customer data is never used to train its models; the pricing page names no hosting region. Built in San Francisco, with a California address.

Public prices: yes. A free plan with 500 one-time credits and up to 3 seats, Starter at 20 dollars per seat per month billed annually with a 5-seat minimum, Professional at 39 dollars per seat per month billed annually with a 15-seat minimum, and a custom Enterprise tier. Practice consumes platform credits: 500 per seat per month on Starter, 750 on Professional.

360Learning

360Learning is a learning management system, not a standalone roleplay tool. Its AI Roleplay feature lives inside the LMS: authors upload playbooks and onboarding manuals, define success criteria and avatar behavior, and publish the simulation into existing learning paths and academies, so learners practice where they already take courses. Scoring is described as objective AI scoring against company standards, with pass or fail benchmarks set by the author and results in the LMS dashboards.

Built for: companies that already run their training in an LMS and want practice inside it. Practice format: voice or text against customizable AI avatars. Feedback: after each simulation, tied to the author’s success indicators. Languages: multilingual practice and scoring; feedback is generated in the scenario’s language, no count given. Data: GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II badges on the product page, a statement that documents and transcripts are not used to train public LLMs; no hosting region stated on that page.

Public prices: partly. The LMS Team plan is 8 dollars per user per month for up to 100 users; Business and Enterprise are custom. The AI Roleplay page publishes no price of its own.

Retorio

Retorio, based in Munich, runs video and phone simulations with photorealistic avatars and gives feedback grounded in behavioral science. It targets large enterprises, typically 1,000 employees and more.

Built for: sales and customer-facing teams in large companies. Practice format: video and phone simulations with coaching cues during the session. Feedback: during and after the session. Languages: 14. Data: Google Cloud with EU data residency, ISO 27001 certified.

Public prices: no. Per-user licenses on request, with 36-month enterprise contracts per its FAQ. Full comparison: Replio vs Retorio.

Which AI tool fits which team

Start from what the team does all day, not from the longest feature list.

  • A sales team at SDR volume with Salesforce and Gong in the stack: Hyperbound is built for that.
  • A formal sales academy with certifications and a demo-led rollout: Second Nature.
  • Sales reps who need to practice a named methodology and want a self-serve start: Exec.
  • One person’s delivery on stage or in interviews: Yoodli measures it best.
  • A company that already runs everything in 360Learning: its AI Roleplay keeps practice inside the LMS.
  • A very large European enterprise that wants video-based behavioral feedback and can sign a 36-month contract: Retorio.
  • Several teams, several languages, your own documents as the source and a start this week without a sales call: Replio.

Test any tool in 30 minutes

  1. Write down one real conversation your team finds hard, for example one of these sales role play scenarios or a customer service scenario.
  2. Build it on the platform from your own material, not from a template. Time how long it takes.
  3. Run the session in the language your team works in. Interrupt the AI and change the subject: does it follow?
  4. Read the feedback. Does it quote what you actually said, or give general advice?
  5. Open the manager view and check what a manager sees per person. For EU teams, this comparison of platforms with EU data residency lists the questions to ask about data.
