Use Cases

Schools and Teachers

Why teams choose Replio: Schools and Teachers

Every student gets speaking time, not only the ones who raise their hand
Tutors stay inside the material you uploaded, nothing invented
Progress, quiz results and session history per student, visible to the teacher
Works for any subject and any level, in the language of your course

How it works: Schools and Teachers

  1. Upload your course material

A chapter, your slides, your own notes. Replio reads them once and keeps every tutor grounded in them, so what students hear matches what you teach.

  2. Invite your class

By email, by CSV, or with one join link pasted in your LMS or your messaging group. Students practice from the browser or the mobile app, whenever they want.

  3. Follow progress

Per student and per class: sessions, quiz results, skills that improve and the gaps to work on next lesson. Export the report when you need it.

Who you practice with

Every session puts you across from an AI persona with its own goals, mood and limits. These are typical counterparts for this domain; your own documents shape the rest.

Mr Okafor, history tutor

Has read your chapter

Explains one idea at a time, asks what the student thinks and admits when a question goes beyond the material. Patient, curious, never in a hurry.

Dr Lindqvist, oral examiner

Exam rehearsal

Listens to the whole presentation, asks the questions a jury would ask and pushes back on the weakest point. Fair, precise, encouraging in the debrief.

Lea, curious classmate

Audience for an explanation

Knows a little and wants to know more. Asks the naive question that shows whether the student really understood, and lets them correct themselves.

Example Scenarios

Review the causes of the First World War with a tutor who has read the chapter

The tutor has read the chapter on 1914 and asks the student to explain the alliances, then the spark, then the chain of events. When a cause is missing, it asks what happened next instead of giving the answer.

Rehearse an oral exam in front of a patient examiner

The examiner listens to the full presentation, asks the two questions a jury would ask and pushes back on the weakest argument. The student gets feedback on structure, clarity and confidence.

Explain a maths proof out loud until every step holds

The student proves the theorem out loud. The tutor stops at the step that was skipped, asks why it holds and lets the student find the gap in their own words.

Practice a job interview in the language class

In the language class, the tutor plays the recruiter. The student answers in the target language, the tutor keeps the conversation natural and the feedback shows the expressions to practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to set up a course?
Your course material: a chapter, your slides, your notes, a textbook extract. Upload it, pick a learning goal, and Replio generates the tutors and a short quiz. A course takes about fifteen minutes to set up.
Do students need an account?
You invite them by email or share one class link. Each student gets a personal space with their sessions, quiz attempts and progress. No credit card, no app to install: it works in the browser, and the mobile app is optional.
Can I see what my students said?
Yes. Each session has a transcript, AI feedback and a score you can complete with your own rating. The class report shows who practiced, how often and where the gaps are.
What about students under 18?
The school is responsible for student consent and for inviting only the students it is allowed to enrol. Data is hosted in the EU, never used to train AI models without an explicit opt-in, and deleted on request.
How much does it cost for a school?
The same plans as any organization: start free, then a monthly plan with a shared pool of practice minutes for the whole class. No per-student fee.
